September's Education Program theme is Radio & TV.

To kick things off, I just found a terrific free resource for getting on radio talk shows.

RadioGuestList.com provides listings of radio show producers looking for interview guests. You can search their listings by topic and also sign up for their "Free Talk Radio and Podcast Booking Emails".

The listings include both traditional radio station shows and internet radio programs.

I would like to get your feedback if you use this service. Add all of your experiences with radio and TV, including RadioGuestList.com, to this discussion thread.

Go to RadioGuestList.com to get on the air.

Thanks,

Scott

Claire,

Thanks for the info on www.pitchrate.com and www.reporterconnection.com. Great resources!
I will give these wider distribution in my next blog.
Since this is Radio & TV Month at SPAN, I will include additional PR resources, also.

I just finished at practice secession for SPAN’s Monthly Webinar with book marketing expert Brian Jud. The Webinar is entitled: "It’s Show Time: How to land and perform on more TV and radio shows," and is scheduled for: September 23, 2010, at 6pm EDT (If you read this before that time, click here to register!). As always, Brian is so generous with his knowledge and will provide practical information that you can use to get radio and TV coverage that can help you increase book sales. Also, we didn’t want anyone reading this thread to miss out on the SPAN Monthly Theme Page that corresponds to education on Radio and TV Resouces at: http://spanpro.org/monthly-theme-current.
