As part of the APSS Take-Out Marketing Menu (with free home delivery), APSS is presenting free, virtual meetings again in 2022. Watch them live, participate and ask questions of the speakers. Here are the free, virtual APSS meetings scheduled so far in March:

 

March 14 (6:30 pm ET): Is Women’s Fiction Really A Thing? Author Valerie Taylor shares the answer, and what it means and how it will enable both men and women to write more insightfully. Valerie begins by tracing the evolution of women’s fiction  from the Victorian era, to the early and the late 1900s, and eventually to today. March 19 (10:30 am – 11:30 am ET): Write Your Book in a Flash, by Dan Janal. Many would-be authors are scared away by myths and misconceptions about writing a book. March 21 (6:30 pm ET): Best-Selling Status on Amazon, by Louise Harris.  Louise will share: 

  1. The formula to get best-selling status
  2. Choosing the right category and keywords
  3. Pricing your book
  4. Pre-sale ads and social media
  5. Need six weeks prior to launch date. 

     Louise has owned LAST Research and Editing for twenty-five years. Before that, she worked in the journalism field after graduating from University of Maryland College of Journalism.      Louise has written and edited blogs, Web content, press releases, newsletters, SEO content and manuscripts for both fiction and nonfiction; and writes for online and print publications. Her work has appeared in numerous print and online publications. Currently, she is the chairwoman of the Bay Area Professional Writers Guild Inc. Member Anthology Committee.
