Hi Deanie, I would definately come to Sweetbriar if I was in CT. I live in Florida, but come to CT to a family cabin on Mt. Tom Pond, near Bantam every summer. I'm not sure when I'll be up this summer, but I think it will be late August, so I will miss your book signing. I wish you the best of luck and great fun with the signing. Kyle

Hi Deanie, I know this site is for Self Publishers, which I am, and news about our books, which I have (new release in September, Snowy Pea and the Ghost Crab, which is all about shorebirds), but on the subject of horses, my last name is Miller. At the time I was called Linda, my sister is Alice. Every Saturday for $3.00. :-)

Thanks Deanie, My sister and I took riding lessons at "Humphrys" when we were kids. That was a long time ago, but is still among my fondest memories of childhood.

Hi Deanie, Did your family have a riding academy in Trumble, CT in the 1950's? Best of luck with your books. They look great. Kyle
