- Stories have been arranging themselves in my head since I can remember what was going on in there. I've done a lot of other things to pay the bills, but writing out these stories is the only job I've never been able to talk myself into quitting. And believe me, I've tried.
- About Me - Professionally
- I first entered the professional realm as a freelance graphic designer, earning my networking chops at a local referral exchange group. Publishing was never the idea until it became apparent to me that: (a) writing was much more than just a hobby, and: (b) that I was just as capable as anyone else at getting my work published.
Note on professionalism: It is my belief that professionalism stems from mutual respect, genuine know-how, and directness. I'm here to sell my books, and I won't put on a cashmere turtleneck and a plastic smile to do that. My professional face is the same as my personal face, and you'll find it quite friendly. I may cross my ankles if the situation calls for it, but god help me if I ever utter the word "synergy".
