APSS members get discounts on a variety of services from Foreword magazine. Here are some of their upcoming deadlines:

December 5: Children’s SIP: Advertising materials are due the morning of Monday December 5, and we have a couple spots left. You’ll get a ton of marketing mileage out of this beautiful spotlight. It will arrive in booksellers hands before Christmas crazy via the December RED boxes sent to American Booksellers Association members. They will also be distributed at the ALA Midwinter and Bologna Children’s Book Fair as well as polybagged with our Mar/Apr issue to subscribers.

December 23: Audio SIP: February 1 cover date, but will be done early enough to be distributed at Midwinter ALA as well as the RED boxes and Mar/Apr polybag. Deadline December 23 for ad reservations.

January 15: Editorial submissions are due January 15th for May/June issue of Foreword Reviews (featuring cooking, family & relationships, debut fiction features) and the LBGTQ+ SIP including both fiction and nonfiction. This particular spotlight will be released April 1, and be distributed at BEA and ALA and mailed with our May/June issue of Foreword. INDIES Book of the Year Award deadline is also January 15th. January 16: Present your book to the trade in the Foreword Reviews INDIE Press Collective at ALA Midwinter. Face out display for each title are $190 and includes a listing in our ecatalog. We need your books by January 16th, order asap here.

January 24: And last but not least, Foreword Reviews March/April issue includes Travel & Adventure, Biography, Fantasy, and expanded children’s/YA coverage. The advertising close date is January 24th.
