Laura Dawson represented Bowker at the 2014 APSS Book Selling University and gave a great presentation on the topic of metadata.  Beginning on September 8 2016, she will be running a six-week course about metadata in the book supply chain.

    For one hour each Wednesday, Laura will do a deep dive into a specific aspect - with historical context, a look to how the web handles book metadata, and an eye towards practical applications that can be implemented right away.

    APSS members can attend one or more of these sessions. These courses are great for increasing sales, for managing editorial and for marketing, publicity, and editorial folks as well as people who are responsible for ONIX feeds.
