What a genius idea! My clients were struggling and frustrated, and I was struggling and frustrated for them. Getting information about marketing and publishing a manuscript was endless research and contrary information, misinformation and vague. I learned most other people in the industry only saw small parts of the process but never the full picture.
So, I came up with this insane idea. Write it all down, in one location - write a book!
Now users have a single source for learning about the process and the people involved. They have an idea of what to do when and who will probably do it. The terminology and time lines should no longer make heads spin. Marketing and publishing should not fall under the protective umbrella of the "need to know" philosophy. With knowledge you feel informed, in control, and actually might enjoy the process.
