PublishingBasics.com -- Huge archive of how-to articles for makers of books.
The Writing Life -- Terry Whalin, author of 60 books, literary agent, marketer.
About.com: Weblogs -- Lots of good browsable advice and links. NY Times owned.

I am new to the group. I have my book blog, which is the backstory and character bios as I finish the editing on the actual book. It's at http://kimcady.blogspot.com.

Their dynamic templates have really worked for me. I've been with them for a long time. I look forward to learning more from this group. PS I learned about the group in the Writer's Digest free 100 Great Sites for Writers download. They specifically mention SPAN's Books and Blogs!

Welcome to the group Jason!

I took a look at your site and was impressed by your marketing. I'd like to discuss that in more details with you, especially the conversion rates for your "New Offer - folding corner popup". Could we talk about it over here in the Online Marketing Thread?

To get the ball rolling I started a new reply that you can respond to, if you so wish.

Hi, I just joined the group. My blog Dr. Sylvia Hawkins Little with my website. Also my RSS is http://feeds.feedburner.com/DrSylviaHawkinsLittle.  I would like to know [1] the names of two books or websites which have provided you with the best information on blogging and [2] how much time you devote to blogging -- daily, once a week or what?  I welcome the opportunity to exchange blog url's.

Hi Everyone,
I am a new member who is desirous of growing and sharing.
I have a featured group on Cambridge Who's Who entitled, "The Pen Is Mightier Than the Sword" which consists of over 100 members in the literary field. I hope to be able to share learnings with them while inviting them to join SPANnet with its many advantages.
Please invite me to be a friend.
Sincerely,
Claire Power Murphy, Featured member
